Putting in the Work

Hello, my loves. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Mine wound up vastly different from how I initially thought it would be.

So, last week, I was planning on another shopping trip with Kitty and/or Griffin for Saturday. Well, Griffin ended up having to work and Kitty wound up getting sick.

I figured I'd end up having another boy mode weekend.

That is until Griffin said he was off on Sunday and could hang out to watch football with my mom and myself. It was time to put in the work; like all ladies do.

Now, normally, I would just wait for the next Willow weekend to be Trixie. Well, I have her the next two weekends and the weekend after that is my trip to the American Dream Mall. So, it was this weekend or wait all month.

Since I hadn't been Trixie for a while (or hadn't put in much work doing so), I was in serious need of hair removal.

I decided to experiment a bit in that area. Usually, I go with either my manual razor or hair removal cream. This time, I started by trying out my epilator on my chest.

For those who don't know, an epilator is like an electric razor. Only, instead of using razors, it uses numerous tweezers. I've used mine for nearly a year now but mostly for my knuckles and toes (I feel like a neanderthal whenever I let my knuckle hairs go).

Good news: the epilator did it's job. Bad news: not well enough and my sensitive skin kicked in. My chest is littered with little bumps and irritation. So, experiment failed but at least I know for sure now. I bought some anti acne cream to help with the irritated areas.

Sunday morning, I woke up and shaved my face like I usually do (electric razor for major growth then manual razor for remainder. I don't use aftershave as I usually hop in the shower when I'm done). Then, I went to work with my hair removal cream.

While it works for me, I would say that results may vary. Also, I do still get small bumps here and there after a week or so. Still not as bad as from the epilator though.

While the cream can be time consuming, I do enjoy the smell (like a hair salon) and how easily the hair comes off. Besides some very slight stubble here and there, my armpits, chest and stomach are now nice and smooth 🙂 (I can use it on my private areas but I have to be careful. It can really burn depending on where I spread it. Shaving is still better for me in that area).

It was then time to get dressed. I went with a shorter black wig which I'd forgotten about. It covers the back of my neck with a bit more length on the left side than the right. Black works for me as it's close to my naturally dark brown hair.

I went with my long denim skirt again and my black and white striped thigh high socks (which I had to keep pulling up all day. I've now come to realize that I've focused entirely on outerwear and nowhere near enough on underwear. I'll be needing a garter belt next time).

For tops, I went with my long sleeve black shirt with white and pink trim. It has a skeleton which says "True Love Never Dies" (picture now on Bluesky). I also went for a jacket that matched (amazingly, it wasn't a set but it works so well together that it should've been). It also gave me a chance to finally wear my black boots featuring the skulls and the red roses.

Despite needing a belt now for my skirt since I continue to lose weight, everything fit perfectly!

The three of us enjoyed a full day of football and I also still did some online shopping. I bought almost an entire book series (more to come on that eventually) and the items I needed for my American Dream outfit (ditto on that 😉).

Overall, another fun weekend. Still, I have more work to do to prepare for my trip. If I'm stepping out as Trixie at one of the busiest malls in the country, I need to look my best.

Also, a certain someone wants to visit NYC while we're close and I want to look my best for when we go there, too. 🙂
